INVITED YOUNG INVESTIGATOR COLLOQUIUM (YIC)
A young investigator is someone with less than 10 years of postdoctoral experience (significant career breaks for valid reasons are excluded). The program committee invites proposals to fill SIX (6) invited YIC sessions (2 h each). Each YIC session include 4 speakers totalling 24 speakers. Each speaker has an allotted time of 30 minutes including Q&A. Proposals will be selected based primarily on scientific merits. However, geographical representation (including a significant Asia Pacific presence) and gender balance will be considered. Each YIC speaker will receive financial support of US$500 and free registration for APSN2020.
Applications must be submitted using the prescribed form. Any missing information on the submitted form would delay the selection process and may jeopardize the chance of success for the applicant.
Non-APSN members are eligible to apply. Once selected, the applicants are required to join as APSN members when registering for APSN2020 (details of membership fees are available at www.APSNeurochem.org). ISN members are exempted from this requirement. (Please note that APSN members can become ISN members with membership fee waived on application).
